In 2023, IJGB joined forces with OctaFX to address the challenges encountered by potential and registered users in navigating the forex and cryptocurrency markets.
Challenges
Many new users signed up and created accounts but struggled to move forward and start trading. The main issue? They lacked the know-how to trade effectively. This knowledge gap was causing many potential customers to drop off before becoming active traders. Without the ability to trade, OctaFX risked losing these users and missing out on opportunities.
The Solution: Learn to Earn with Octa
We introduced an educational program to teach beginner and intermediate traders how to succeed in the Forex market. Live trading sessions were conducted to provide practical experience and insights into real-time trading, enhancing attendees' understanding. These training sessions were held for free over several months in cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.

In April 2023, our collaboration with OctaFX culminated in a two-day Lagos, Nigeria, conference titled "Money Moves." This event focused on activating OctaFX customers who had registered but had not engaged in forex and cryptocurrency trading.

In January 2023, IJGB and OctaFX jointly conducted a five-day event in Lagos, Nigeria, to educate and empower individuals about the opportunities within Forex trading.

A 5-day forex masterclass was organized at Rivers State University, targeting students with limited to no experience in Forex trading. The workshop garnered significant interest, with 231 students registering and 68 graduating students receiving certificates upon completion.

In September 2023, we collaborated with OctaFX to organize a traders' meetup in Abuja. This event served as a platform for forex traders, enthusiasts, and experts to unite, share knowledge, network, and build a supportive community within the forex trading ecosystem.
Results
Through these initiatives, our partnership with OctaFX addressed the knowledge gap hindering user engagement, empowering hundreds of individuals to transition from having zero trading knowledge to successfully executing their first trades in the market.
